About the Role

Thunderzone Carrollton is looking for a proactive, handy, and high-energy Pinchaser / Porter to join our team full-time. In this role, you will be the backbone of our facility’s daily operations. You will split your time between technical troubleshooting—keeping our cutting-edge arcade games, traditional string pin, and duckpin bowling lanes running smoothly—and maintaining the overall cleanliness and presentation of our building.

If you love working with your hands, solving technical puzzles, and take pride in keeping a facility looking sharp, this is the perfect job for you!

Key Responsibilities

  • Lane & Technical Support: Learn to read machine error codes, clear jams, and perform general troubleshooting on our traditional string pin and duckpin bowling lanes to minimize guest downtime.

  • Arcade Maintenance: Oversee the arcade floor, fix minor game issues, clear game codes, and help refill merchandise and prize games.

  • Facility Support: Monitor and change beverage kegs and BIBs (bag-in-box soda syrups) for the bar and restaurant as needed.

  • Hourly Cleanliness Checks: Check and replenish all restrooms every hour on the hour, ensuring they remain clean, stocked, and presentable, with a final stock at the end of the night.

  • General Porter Duties: Empty overflow trash cans throughout the facility, wipe down high-traffic areas, and oversee the general cleanliness of the building to ensure a 5-star guest experience.

Position Requirements & Schedule

This is a Full-Time position. To be considered, candidates must have open availability to work the following shifts:

  • Tuesday & Wednesday: Nights (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM)

  • Friday, Saturday & Sunday: Weekend shifts (any time between the hours of 11:00 AM – 1:00 AM)

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and a natural mechanical/technical aptitude (experience with basic tools or troubleshooting electronics is a huge plus).

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs (such as lifting kegs or trash bags) for extended periods.

  • A strong sense of urgency, attention to detail, and a self-motivated work ethic.

  • Comfortable working in a loud, fast-paced, and high-energy entertainment environment.

Compensation: $12.00 per hour

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
